Toner Sensor Error

There is a difference between a toner cartridge supplied on its own and a toner cartridge supplied with a new image drum.
"Figure A" shows the serial number label of the starter toner cartridge which is supplied alongside a new printer. This toner cartridge is designed to only fill up the new image drum and is not supplied on its own. If this is installed in any image drum other than the one supplied with a new printer then the toner sensor error message "toner empty" will be displayed and a standard toner cartridge should be installed.

"Figure B" shows the serial number label of a standard toner cartridge that can be installed at any stage whether you have a new image drum or not.
