Changing the image drum

20/02/2004

Your C7000 printer uses 4 colour image drums (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black) to place the toner on the page.

These drums are easy to replace when required. When the image drum reaches the end of its product life, CHANGE *** DRUM is displayed in the control panel (*** is the colour name).

If printing continues without replacing the image drum, CHANGE *** IMAGE DRUM is displayed and printing is cancelled. Image drum life is approximately 23,000 sheets of A4. (This assumes a typical office environment where 20% of print jobs are one page emails, 30% are 3 page word documents and 50% are print runs of 15 pages or more).
