Changing OS settings and enabling installation with Mac OS X 'Mountain Lion'
20/02/2013
There are some limitations when a current driver from the website is used with Mac OS X 'Mountain Lion'
With the default setting (called 'GateKeeper') of the OS, the following message or similar will appear and prevent startup:
"MAC_OS_Lion" can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.
Your security preferences allow installation only of apps from the Mac App Store and identified developers.
NB: Please note this message will not appear during installation from the CD
Please follow the process below to launch OS X Lion supported software downloaded from the web or attached to an email:
(1) Press the Control key and click software
(2) Select “Open” from the pop-up menu
(3) Click “Open”
Alternately, you can change the default settings of Gatekeeper; to do this go to 'Security & Privacy'

Click on the padlock at the bottom left to make changes

Enter an administrator password to edit your preferences

Select "Anywhere" and then "Allow From Anywhere"
