Be economical and ecological - print double-sided
Save time, money and paper
Look after the pennies and the environment with Oki's simple double-sided (duplex) printing functionWhether you want to halve the size of the documents you print, print brochures or simply save paper, your Oki printer can easily be set up for duplex printing.
Do it now
1. If your printer is a C5400dn then move straight to step two.
If not then you must check that your printer contains a duplex unit. You can see the duplex unit at the back of your printer. The first image shows a printer without duplex and the second what it looks like with a duplex unit.
2. If your printer has a duplex unit but your driver shows the double-sided printing option greyed out (see below) then follow these steps:
- Select Start, Printers and fax
- Right click your Oki printer's driver icon
- Select Properties, Device options
- Tick Duplex unit box
- Click OK. You should now be set up to print double-sided documents. 3. Open the OKI C5X00 driver (select File, Print, OKI C5X00 driver)
- Select Properties
- Select 2-sided printing for either the long (portrait) or short edge (landscape) of the paper
- Click OK twice to print your duplex documentWe recommend saving your format as a driver setting so next time you print this type of document everything is already set up for you.
